Ever wondered what it’s like?

At Ino-cho Paper Museum, you can find out for yourself! 
You can watch free demonstrations of nagashizuki papermaking technique included with
your general admission fee.
On the first Sunday of every month, we hold a nagashizuki papermaking classes (for an additional cost).
With the guidance of professional papermakers,
you can try making your own colored paper or postcards.

Papermaking Program

Make your own paper by scooping the pulp out of the melting trough and into the suketa
molding frame to be smoothed out and solidified.

Time

About 1 hour (30 minutes hands-on, 30 minutes drying time*)
*the finished paper can be shipped at your expense if you don’t have time to wait for the paper to dry.

Cost

¥400 plus admission fee.

Size

8 postcards, 2 sheets of colored paper or others.
